Banaue, Ifugao Province, Philippines

A spur-of-the-moment road trip in early January  to see one of the wonders of the world — the Banaue Rice Terraces.

3 days. 2nights. 800+kms on the road. 50++kms hiking. 1 memorable adventure.

We also hiked to Batad, location of the Ampitheatre Rice Terraces.

The hike wasnt easy…

…but the views were worth it.

We also got to see some traditional rituals and dances performed by the indigenous people.

…like this “war dance”.
