Went on a short trip to Tagaytay City a few days ago to look at a piece of land that was for sale. It was my first time to visit again after 4 years.
Leaving 7am from Taguig City on a weekday morning, the drive took only an hour to get to Tagaytay.
We – my mom, aunt, cousin and i – decided to have breakfast first at Breakfast at Antonio’s before proceeding to the property.
After a couple of hours at the property, we then visited a Flower Farm located just a few hundred meters away.
My mom didnt want to leave. This was her happy place.
We then went to Twin Lakes Tagaytay to look for a place to have lunch.
After lunch, we went back to the property for a quick chat with the real estate agent.
All business for the day done, our last stop was at Escala Tagaytay, the newest hotel on the (Tagaytay) ridge.
We tried out the “sungka platter” – a collection of various childhood sweets/candies that was served on a wooden slab carving (where an indigenous local game called “sungka” is used to play on).
This wonderful view of Taal Lake and the Taal Volcano, the world’s smallest active volcano, was the perfect end to cap this quick Tagaytay trip.
Tagaytay, i will be back soon.
